NOTES
Daniel and I have a strong base in jazz, starting off as teens in jazz orchestra. Daniel and I figured why not blend beautiful jazz piano with beautiful original Hawaiian tunes. Interesting aside: Three of the tunes’ lyrics are actually a wedding present that Amy had written for Daniel’s wedding to Lydia. They are known as the Pumehana Trilogy. Also, Kaiholena was written by students at a songwriting retreat Daniel held at a coffee plantation in Ka’u.
